Visit Northwest Florida's museums and amusement parks from marine to military.
The Gulfarium hosts 600-pound (270kg) grey seals to two-ounce (56g) clown fish
in 14 intriguing exhibits. Delilah the dolphin stars with 18-foot (540cm)
skyward leaps. Be sure to visit the the U.S. Air Force Armament Museum, one of
only three American Museums dedicated to the display of Air Force weaponry. It
spans four wars with 25 planes -- including the reconnaissance SR-71 "Blackbird"
Spy Plane -- and 5,000 other items of interest.

Force Armament Museum (North of Fort Walton Beach)
Admission free. Exhibits of aircraft and armaments dating
back to World War I. This is a must see. Take the kids to for a close up look of those high flying machines.

Admission paid at the Indian Temple Mound Museum gets admission into
all three museums.
Admission fee for adults (18 yrs. +)

Restored and maintained by the Jr. Service League of For Walton Beach. Built in 1912, the school was in use
until 1936. The building is open to groups for tours by reservation.

tax, and children 3 yrs and older are free. A 20,000 piece exhibit showcasing America's largest collection of Southeastern Indian ceramic
artifacts found in a 40-mile
radius of the downtown area. A temple mound, once used by Native Americans
for political and religious ceremonies, is just outside the museum.

Heritage Museum

Located just a few minutes from the East Gate of Eglin Air Force Base.
The Heritage Museum features exhibits that illustrate the history of NW
Florida. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 - 4:00. Admission is
free.

Old Destin Post Office (Destin)
Artifacts, photos, historic objects and
data reflect the culture of early Destin pioneers. Destin's first post
