Destin Florida Fishing

Destin, Florida is world renowned for bottom fishing and hosts the largest charter fishing fleet in the state of Florida.  Grouper, scamp, Red Snapper, triggerfish and amberjack are among the species caught when bottom fishing.  In-shore and off-shore trolling fishing charters are also available from the Destin harbor.  Some of the seasonal in-shore species include cobia, tuna, and mackerel.  Off-shore seasonal species include white and blue marlin, mahi-mahi, wahoo, and sailfish.  With more than 100 charter and party boats to chose from, ranging in size from 6 to more than 50 fisherman, there is a charter available for everyone from novice to the most experienced fisherman.  Prices for charters vary by boat, and include fishing license, bait and tackle.  It is recommended to bring your own food and beverage, and be sure to bring sun screen and your camera!
