Two campgrounds are available
within the park. Tree-shaded Pine Grove is located a short
distance from the entrance station. The other is near the
Loxahatchee River. A primitive youth camp is also available by
reservation. Cabins may be rented at the concession facility,
along with canoes. Reservations available through Reserve

At 1,043 acres, Oleta River State
Park is the largest urban park in the state. Located on Biscayne
Bay in northeast Dade County, the most prominent natural feature
of the park is the Oleta River, for which the park is named.

Oleta River State Park currently
has over 10 miles of challenging, intermediate mountain bike
trails. For the beginner, there are over 4 miles of novice trails
and 3 miles of paved trail. The paved trail also offers great
conditions for roller blading. The park is very conscience about
safety on the trails and provides a bicycle helmet loaner system
for those that forget their bicycle helmets.
A primitive youth camping area and
14 primitive rental cabins are available by reservations.
