Florida Powerboat Club - Panama City Poker Run
The Panama City Beach area offers a vast playground for boaters, yet remains as one of Florida’s least discovered destinations in boating circles. Located on the sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of the Florida Panhandle, the area offers miles of protected bay waters with abundant cruising destinations in many directions….east through Port St. Joe and Apalachicola, and west to Sandestin, Destin, Fort Walton Beach. For recreational boaters, the most attractive feature is the ability to choose between coastal routes or protected bays and intracoastal waters, with the ability to run on-plane and at normal cruising speeds for powerboats. Presently, there are very few slow-speed zones in these areas.
